Boroughmuir Cricket Club was founded in 1926 by former pupils of Boroughmuir High School. Since its inception, the club has played its home games at it spiritual home, Meggetland. For many years the club played only friendly fixtures in the summer against teams from all over Scotland, however since 1979 the club has played competitive fixtures in the East of Scotland leagues.
The 1st XI will play in Division 3 of the East of Scotland League for 2024, whilst the 2nd XI will play in Division 6. A mid week team will play T20 friendlies and competitions
